We are committed to capacity building and knowledge transfer to promote the progress of science and society

In 2024 IHCantabria has reaffirmed its commitment to knowledge transfer and capacity building, consolidating its position as a reference in the international scientific community. Our staff has actively participated in more than 370 events and conferences in 34 countries, sharing advances and findings that enriched the academic dialogue and fostered innovation. In total, more than 160 members of our team have presented papers at 80 scientific conferences, highlighting the quality of our research and our contribution to addressing global environmental challenges.

In addition, we have participated in more than 40 technical meetings that strengthened strategic alliances and in 84 events, within the framework of technology transfer projects, enhancing our capacity for impact. These initiatives strengthened our professional networks.

The promotion of scientific vocations was also high on our agenda. Throughout the year, we welcomed more than 650 students from 16 educational centers to our facilities, giving them the opportunity to participate in scientific outreach and exploration activities. With talks and workshops, we inspire future generations of researchers, promoting enthusiasm for science and sustainability.

These actions underscore our commitment to advancing science, technology transfer and building a sustainable future through knowledge and global collaboration.
